Hands on Telescope

On 23rd July 2012, a special evening session cum observation was organised by SPACE for astronomy club students of Step by Step School, Noida.The objective of session was to train the kids in handling a telescope. 17 students attended this session from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The session started with a presentation on telescopes. After learning the basics through presentation, kids went out in field and learnt telescope handling. Later on, they were asked to point the telescopes to Moon and they all saw Moon through their telescopes. All the kids were very ecstatic to get trained on telescope handling.
